Japanese made High Frequency Induction furnaces designed by Fuji electric provide close temperature control and maximum efficiency for specific melting applications.
The advantage of the induction furnace is a clean, energy-efficient and well-controllable melting process. Our new factory is equipped with 4 high frequency induction furnaces:
A rail system is installed below the furnaces for safe and rapid transport of loaded casting ladles to the pouring station.
Furnace area is designed and built according to strict safety requirements. Run out pits are located under and in front of each induction furnace ensuring they contain any molten metal spilled as a result of accident, run out or emergency dumping.
Qualified personnel take regular temperature readings using expendable Immersion thermocouples or pyrometers.
Computerized melting control systems monitor and control the melt, diagnose faults, maximize power usage, minimize power charges and perform a variety of functions, ensuring more precise control of the entire melting process.
A part of the melt is taken in the hand shank and poured into the test cup for quick thermal analysis of the iron melt. This makes it possible to correct the melt for optimization & ensures higher quality when pouring.
Thermal Data from the specimen sample are displayed here allowing furnace operator to analyze and make necessary adjustments for a high quality pouring.
Working in a foundry has always been a dangerous line of work. Our responsible foundry managers acknowledge the danger and have adopted appropriate measures to eliminate the risks and make the foundry an accident-free workplace.
Furnace is automatically tilted and molten metal is rapidly poured into the casting ladle.
An ideal solution for producing large size castings: the auto rotating furnace ensures the availability of molten metal in short time, rapid pouring into the ladle, and the possibility of making any metallurgic adjustments that may be necessary.
In especially large castings multiple gates or runners may be required to introduce metal to more than one point in the mold cavity.
Separating the casting from its mold is a necessary step in the metal casting process. Usually referred to as shakeout, a well-planned and designed system can improve overall productivity and reduce cleaning and finishing operations.
Cheng Feng’s new factory is equipped with a VT 252440 40 tons shake out machine.
Once the “Shake Out” process is complete the casting is sent to the shot blasting station.
Cheng Feng’s Shot Blasting Machine is a hook type system ideally suited for fragile or irregularly shaped workpieces. Rotating hooks stop the workpiece at fixed positions to improve blasting efficiency allowing a better coverage under blast streams.
The loading and unloading of the components are done at a given point along the Shot blasting monorail system. This set up allows operators to conveniently process work pieces, and maintain productivity level at its maximum.
Once the Shot blasting process is complete, casting is now ready to be lifted off to the next station.

Designed to handle mixed loads of medium and large components, this Hook Blast machine can support weights up to 20 Tons and has a generous work cylinder measuring 3600 mm with a height of 6000mm.
Suited for different production rates and work pieces of different sizes, this machine adds another degree of flexibility and production efficiency to our foundry process.
Positioned at the end of the factory, several stations are available for the finishing process, de-flashing and parting line metal removal. Depending on the casting finish quality, finishing may involve several steps of grinding from coarse to fine, then castings are inspected for surface quality before delivery to customers.
Our new factory has the capability to produce 2,500 tons of specialty castings per month. These facilities provide a total of 70000m2 of production and finishing capacity, allowing us to consistently meet your casting needs and delivery requirements.
Following the casting process, sand from collapsed molds or cores is mechanically recycled to produce new cores or molds.
Airborne dust and fine particles can be hazardous to human health, and casting metals produces a large amount of dust and fume. Cheng Feng’s 150hp large-volume dust collection system can handle the most demanding applications and is well designed to protect workers from hazardous substances allowing for a safe working environment and efficient production.
Chen Feng’s closed loop water cooling system is built at a short distance alongside the factory. Complete with emergency backup systems in case of pump failure or power outage, flow sensors, pressure gauges, thermometers, water meters, and other monitoring and control devices needed to ensure smooth foundry operations.
Our new factory is equipped with 2 Omega Spartan III Sand Mixers, with Variable mixing speed from 800 - 1400 RPM and a capacity of 1 to 100 tons per hour. This ensures increased production capability and a better control of throughput and mix quality.
