1963

Established "Yuan Hsin Foundry," using coke furnaces to produce gray iron castings.

1970

Adopted the CO₂ molding process and began using sand cores.

1974

Expanded and renamed to "Cheng Feng Casting Factory Co., Ltd.," producing gray and ductile iron castings with coke furnaces.

1976

Introduced the Furan no-bake molding method and began manufacturing medium- and large-sized industrial machinery parts

Raw materials imported from Kao Corporation; Equipment imported from TAIYO MACHINERY Co., Ltd., Japan

1984

Introduced low-frequency electric induction furnaces from PILLAR, USA.

1985

Obtained Meehanite metal process certification and technical guidance.

1988

Established Cheng Wei Machinery Co., Ltd. (Tanzi Plant) to undertake machining operations.

1993

Subcontracted with Thyssenkrupp GmbH to manufacture coke oven equipment for Taiwan China Steel Corporation

1998

Introduced CNC sand mixers from OMEGA, UK.

2004

Certified ISO 9001:2000

2006

Introduced CNC engraving machine for EPS mold production

2008

Subcontracted with Thyssenkrupp GmbH to produce medium-sized coke oven equipment.
Developed castings for biodiesel hydraulic cylinders
New foundry commence construction at Yunali

2009

Subcontracted with Thyssenkrupp GmbH and manufacture coke oven equipment for JFE in Japan.
Certified ISO 9001:2008

2010

Introduced metal flow simulation analysis system (JSCAST)

2013

Fengzhou Machining Plant completed and started production
Installed CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) equipment

2014

Yuanli Plant completed and began trial operation

2015

Certified ISO 9001:2015

2019

Second machining plant (Shenzhou) commence construction

2021

Selected as Outstanding Business Entity by Ministry of Finance

2024

Relocation of the Tanzi Machining Plant to the Shenzhou Plant

2025

Both foundry plant completed Carbon Footprint Self-Assessment
